Session description

Learn the basics of soldering: What it is, why it is useful in the classroom and how to get started with students. This is for beginners who no idea how to best get a project like this started.

Purpose & objective

Outline

I will have posters of my 3rd-5th grade students soldering. I will have a soldering iron at my booth and samples of the kits to show educators what they look like and they can decide what kit they could use for their students. They really can be used by students from3rd-12th grade since many students have never soldered before and need to start out simple.
