She is passionate about incorporating educational technology tools into library services and increasing patron engagement.

Session description

Parts of library collections can become neglected in terms of marketing and fail to represent diverse collections to the community. We'll share examples of digital displays, how to make them using Genial.ly and Google Slides, and tips on how to market them to your community.

Purpose & objective

Purpose: To educate librarians and other educators on the benefits of virtual and interactive displays and demonstrate some ways in which you can create them.

Participants will know what digital and interactive displays are.
Participants will become familiar with tools that are used to create digital and interactive displays.
Participants will have resources and examples to take with them to create their own digital and interactive displays.
