Session description

Asynchronous professional learning has become a popular method for professional growth. Giving educators the option to expand their tool box when they have time leads to increased participation, growth and outcomes in our schools. Join us to talk about the three P's of designing and leave with resources to implement.

Purpose & objective

Participants will be able to identify the main components of a well structured professional learning session.
Participants will be able to analyze their participant audience to ensure that chosen platforms and technology tools used are appropriate and accessible to all learners.
Participants will be able to create a learning environment that allows for discussion, interaction, multiple modes of content delivery, and opportunities for reflection.
Participants will be able to consider pace; allowing for mini tasks to be completed over a period of time as well thinking about time for participant creation.
Participants will locate and categorize design building elements that can be shared amongst the group.
