Incorporating microlearning into the classroom is a way to capture the attention of students, in small segments, through digital media and technology. The single objective focus is designed to elicit a specific outcome (e.g., identifying words with short vowel sounds). Teachers can use available tech tools (Google, Screencastify, YouTube, FlipGrid, SeeSaw, etc) to deliver lessons in 3-5 min segments. Built in assessment demonstrates if students met the objective or require a personalized learning path to achieve mastery.
