Session description

Canvas Commons has a repository of shared lesson plans created by real teachers that are available to customize and use in your Canvas Classroom. Learn how we share our planned professional development and lesson plans with teachers before our sessions to help prepare them for the PD and use after.

Purpose & objective

The pandemic shared the importance of an LMS, but teachers are still struggling to find the resources to learn new tools or inspiration for lessons that can be done both in person or virtually. In this snapshot we will show the power of finding lessons in Commons, how easy it is to build and share lessons in Canvas with professional development and student learning in mind, and how they can be modified to meet the teaching needs and styles of the teacher.
