Session description

Learn how our CEO empowered the entire staff to participate in strategic planning by having diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging at the forefront in building intentional space for expertise, questions, joy and technology innovation, giving voice to all and fostering a fail-forward mindset to strengthen organizational culture.

Purpose & objective

-Empower staff to engage in strategic planning differently.

-Invite everyone to the table to build trust. Include use of Padlets, Direct Polls, and Intranet (i.e. Sharepoint) to provide avenues of feedback and intentional collaboration that is accessible to everyone.

-Democratize intelligence.

-Celebrate different voices.

-Take risks and be willing to fail.

-100% of staff reported having their voice heard at the table by end of Day 3

-96% of staff reported strategic planning experience to have strengthened their sense of belonging.
