Session description

Students will show how they designed and built a racing car model using Tinkercad. In the process, they put knowledge from different subjects into practice: math, physics, technology and English (ESL).They will share their work and show you how you can apply it in your classroom.

Purpose & objective

Participants will listen to the students talk about their learning experience using the app How To: Use Tinkercad 3D Design Software 101inkercad to build a racing car model, putting different knowledge, from different subjects, into practice.
They will have the chance to design their own racing car, guided by the students.
Participants will find new ways to use technology in their classroom, providing their students with meaningful knowledge.

Outline

1. Students will present their work using iPads.
2. They will show how they use tinkercad to build racing car models
3. Students will wear costumes depending on the racing team they chose
4. Finally, they will invite participants to apply their idea on-site and in their classrooms.
