Tavane Moore was born and raised for ten years in Schweinfurt, Germany as an Army brat. She then moved to El Paso, Texas with her parents and four siblings. I developed my love of cultures and languages. I studied German, Spanish and Russian during middle school, high school and college. I am passionate about the process of learning and the art of teaching. I believe in and consistently implement differentiation in my instruction and assessments while students take ownership of their education!

Session description

Cultivate empowerment and growth in skills proficiency through differentiating instruction using interactive technology! Participants interact with student-generated products and learn about soliciting student input using sites like Padlet, Adobe Creative Cloud, Voki, Seesaw E-Portfolio and others. Participants receive planning and implementation templates, samples and simplified strategies.

Purpose & objective

Participants will be able to:
*chunk instructions for creating Adobe Creative Cloud projects
*utilize Padlet to solicit students' input for differentiation planning
*customize websites that are not world languages-specific, to support ISTE standards and student empowerment
*co-plan productively with students
*facilitate students self-assessing, reflecting and setting goals using the ACTFL Can-Do proficiency statements
*implement self-reflective and goal-setting questions based on exemplars and templates
*interact with Voki, Padlet, Seesaw, Adobe Creator and other artifacts generated by students (These will be models and I will provide templates).
*collaborate on Padlet with ideas based on the artifacts I share (They will receive a copy of the link for future planning and ideas).
