My name is Kwaku Aning and I am the Director of the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurial Thinking at the San Diego Jewish Academy but I have had the privilege to work in various roles within public charter and private schools over the past 23 years within education. In my current and previous roles I have had the privilege to work with students on various STEAM and Project Based Learning projects utilizing robotics, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, virtual reality, and projection mapping.
Olly is a lecturer in Criminology at Lancaster University UK. Building on his experience as a police officer specialising in cybercrime he used Zoe Immersive to create a VR crime scene that is used to teach students about cybercrime investigations. Olly is interested in game based learning, scenarios, and the use of VR/XR in for teaching in Higher Education.
My name is Brendan Kelly and I have been an Innovation Coach for the West Allis - West Milwaukee School District for the last 12 years. I have a passion for technology integration, creativity and creation. I am a maker at heart and am driven to give students opportunities to create and learn.

I have been an educator in the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District for 11 years. In those years I have taught students in 4th and 5th grade, worked with students in math and behavior intervention, and most recently, I am a 6th grade social studies, ELA and science teacher. This is my first ISTE conference and look forward to learning and sharing with everyone.

Dr. Kevin Merges has presented at national and international conferences on the topic of communication through online environments. He works to bring AR/VR and Web3 resources to schools. Additionally, he advises Heads of School and Boards of Trustees on emerging technologies as they will impact schools in the future.
Deidre Roemer is the Assistant Superintendent for the West Allis West Milwaukee School District. Prior to that role she served as the Director of Leadership and Learning, the Coordinator of Special Education, an instructional coach, and a classroom teacher for twelve years in Illinois, Wisconsin, Hawaii, Iowa, and Minnesota in a variety of grade levels. Her philosophy of education has always been to empower every learner to be curious, try anything, work hard and prepare for life after school. She is also an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a contributing author of Because of a Teacher by George Couros.

Outline
Content and activities: In this presentation we will discuss:
- the process for introducing teachers to VR
- training teachers to plan PBL units which empowers students to create with VR
- preparing headsets for deployment within a district with multiple schools
- overall program design
The audience will be able to participate through out this panel through asking questions about the process.
Time: We will dedicate roughly 20 minutes to each topic
Process: We plan to use traditional engagement tools like turn and talks and question and answer
