Merry has 19 years of experience in education, as a classroom teacher, STEM Enrichment Specialist and Instructional Technology Specialist with the Cherokee County School District. In addition to her role with CCSD, she is an Adjunct Professor at Reinhardt University, and an NCCE Professional Learning Specialist. Merry is an MIEE, Master Trainer and Fellow and a Global Minecraft Mentor. She is a Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Alumni (New Zealand). She is a former Teacher of The Year, the 2014 Museum of Aviation National STEM Teacher of the Year, and a 2011 ISTE Emerging Leader Awardee.

Information Technology Specialist
Charity has over twenty years of experience in education. She began teaching in North Dakota for seven years while also serving as a technology coordinator before transitioning into an information technology specialist (ITS) with EduTech. Charity became a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE) and began working with the Northwest Council for Computer Education (NCCE). She then served four years as the Manager of Training at the University of South Carolina in the Division of Information Technology. She recently resumed her role at EduTech as an ITS. She is a MIE Master Trainer, and Minecraft Trainer and Ambassador.

Session description

Explore the diverse ways in which Minecraft can be utilized, fostering a personalized and inclusive learning experience. Educators will gain valuable insights on leveraging the unique features of Minecraft to accommodate various learning preferences, enhancing student motivation, understanding, and retention.
