Event Information
To engage the audience, the session will begin with key statistics and research on leadership burnout and turnover, providing context for the challenges school leaders face. (5 min.)
Participants will then complete a guided self-assessment using the "whole leader" framework, reflecting on their well-being across multiple dimensions. (10 min.)
Following the self-assessment, participants will engage in a brief partner talk to share initial insights. This will be followed by discussions in nearby groups of four, allowing participants to explore what sustains them in their roles and what aspects of their well-being they can influence. (10 min)
Next, I will guide the groups in setting goals directly aligned with their self-assessment results. Participants will identify multiple actionable goals to enhance their well-being and sustain their leadership effectiveness. This process will include a "vision to action" exercise, where groups prioritize these goals and discuss immediate next steps. (10 min.)
Finally, we will conduct a whole group share-out, where select participants will share key takeaways and goals, fostering a collective learning experience. Throughout the session, opportunities for questions and reflections will be encouraged, ensuring an interactive and collaborative environment. (10 min.)
