Purpose: To spread awareness of established, effective hybrid school models and inspire school and district leaders to consider adopting such a model.
Objectives:
1. Participants will be able to define blended, hybrid, and remote learning models.
2. Participants will understand the benefits of a hybrid school model.
Educational/Infrastructure Challenge: How do we meet the needs of some of our unique/diverse learners, for whom the traditional school model does not work? These include: rural students, students with job/professional level extra curriculars, hospital/home bound students, teen parents, depressed/anxious students.
Models Employed: 50/50 hybrid model, 50% in-person synchronous learning, 50% remote asynchronous learning.

Participants will be given a link to the slide deck presentation which will include an asynchronous video lesson that they can complete in their own time.
I will be sharing our schools' average test score data compared to the districts' average as evidence of the viability of a hybrid school model.
