Proposal summary

Purpose & objective

This playground will allow participants to get hands-on experience with Google for Education tools and Google devices to allow them to increase productivity, collaboration, and access for information for both themselves and their students. Highly interactive, virtual stations will feature presentations focused on how Google tools have an impact on teaching and learning. We will gauge success by the engagement and interactions among participants and with playground moderators and presenters.

Outline

G Suite for Education and Google devices such as Chromebooks will be explored in a variety of sessions. Participants will be engaged through 20 minute, interactive sessions with 10 minutes of Q&A built in. We plan to have:
- 6 concurrent stations with a rotation of at least three presenters throughout the duration of the playground.
- A moderator in each station to help participants navigate resources and to support presenters.
- A book giveaway to encourage interaction and participation.
