Proposal summary

Purpose & objective

By the end of this presentations, participants will be able to:

- Understand the basic (and some advanced) uses of Google Drawings and Google Slides
- Develop a project idea for their classroom
- Utilize some lesser known tools of Drawings and Slides
- Create a lesson idea for implementation of this lesson in their own classroom

This was a project that has been done at the intermediate school I support for both the social studies teacher and the AVID program. I assisted the social studies teacher in creating posters of countries, had them printed in color, and they were hung in the hallway outside the classroom. For the AVID program, something similar was carried out, except with colleges and univiersities, which allowed students to do more in-depth with these programs. They were then printed and displayed at the entrance to our building.
