Janet is an educational technology consultant with experience as a classroom teacher, instructional technology coordinator, and adjunct professor. Her passion for assisting educators learn new strategies for successfully integrating technology into their curriculum has provided her with many opportunities to present at national, state, and local conferences and in school districts throughout the United States. She has co-authored four books on technology integration and professional development. Janet served in various positions for the TCEA Board of Directors and was awarded ISTE’s Making It Happen award given to leaders in educational technology. Also, Janet was an ISTE Featured Voice in 2020.

Charlie Fitzpatrick has been K12 Education Manager for Esri, makers of GIS software, since 1992. In this role, he works with K12 students, teachers, and leaders of education and policy in schools, districts, and states, helping them grasp why and how to take advantage of Esri's offer of software and learning resources free to K12 schools for instructional use. Prior to Esri, Charlie taught social studies in grades 7-12 for 15 years, mostly 8th grade geography.

Laurie won the ‘Best Overall Implementation of Technology’ award from Tech and Learning and Global Impactor Award from the Digital Citizenship Institute in 2022. Laurie was named CoSN’s NextGen: Emerging EdTech Leaders in 2020 and earned the Spotlight Award at BOCES. Laurie was part of the NYSED authoring committee for the Computer Science and Digital Fluency standards and is a member of the NYSED Content Advisory Panel for those standards. Daniel is in his 8th year as an instructional technology coach. Purpose:
Provide participants an opportunity to explore a variety of multimedia tools, participate in hands-on activities, and learn about curricular integrations that provide students a creative way to share their learning and express their views and perspectives.
Objectives:
Each Presentation Stage will
• provide information and guidance on how to integrate multimedia tools into specific curricular topics
• provide cross curricular integrations
• provide activity ideas and resources needed
• show how to use the multimedia tool and how to mashup with other multimedia tools

Each Sandbox Table will:
• Provide a hands-on experience which allows participants to jump in and explore the resources and activities.
• Feature MultiMedia tools and strategies to assist students with the production of Multimedia products to showcase their learning, views, and perspectives.
• Provide opportunity to learn about multimedia tools for the purpose of Video production, Slide Show applications, Online Books, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Podcast production, Green Screen, Hyperdocs, Interactive web design,etc.
