Session description

This session will focus on how curation through Wakelet can be used to create research opportunities and establish literature circles or student book clubs where students can exercise choice and allow their interests to guide their inquiry and reading selections.

Purpose & objective

The purpose of this session is to expose attendees to the importance of student choice in learning, particularly during research and reading opportunities. Participants will know that Wakelet is a curation tool that can be used to create collections of resources and materials to facilitate learning opportunities. Participants will be able to create their own collections to support teaching and learning.
The only educational or infrastructure challenge would be required access to digital devices and the Internet to use Wakelet.
