Dr. John Wick is the principal of a Catholic TK-8th grade school in just North of Los Angeles California. He has served for 14 years in education leading schools and teaching courses that range from Studio arts to Middle school Science. Having taught students in every grade from Kindergarten to 8th grade He targets his leadership and instruction based upon the developmental level of the students. He has worked as the director of education for a neuroeducation startup company and desires to help all teachers and students succeed.

Session description

Learn how one school has used Canva as its main application use across multiple areas of school operations. Hear about the successes, challenges and positive outcomes that this application has brought to the school.

Purpose & objective

Participants will come away with some concrete examples of how Canva can be used at a school level for appsmashing with Wakelet and curating newsletters as well as solving other communications issues at a school level. Attendees will learn the steps necessary to begin the process of signing up for Canva at a school or district level.
