Gretchen Prange is a Team Lead on the Proven Practices team at PowerSchool. She has more than 18 years of experience working with students and educators in blended learning environments. Gretchen Prange was a classroom teacher for one of the fastest growing districts in the state of Missouri (Wentzville School District) for 12 years. She also served as a building level technology representative, where she provided PD learning opportunities and support for district staff members. Gretchen has an M.Ed. in Educational Technology- Technology in Schools and a BS in Education from the University of Missouri, Columbia.

Dani Patterson, M. Ed., has been in education for over 14 years in different capacities such as: elementary teacher, technology specialist, instructional coordinator of instructional technology, and most recently Director of Digital Learning & Innovation. Her passion for Blended Learning started young in her career and she strives every day to help other educators take simple innovative steps for one reason: student achievement. She has her dream job working with the ProvenPractices team to help teachers globally!

Kellie Ady spent 25 years in public education before joining Schoology in 2016 as the Senior Director of Instructional Strategy. In her current role, she works with districts across the country who are implementing digital learning initiatives. As an educator, she spent the first half of her career as a high school English teacher, eventually moving into an EdTech director role. As a district leader, she led the efforts in supporting and implementing instructional technology and curriculum initiatives. Kellie has presented nationally and regionally at conferences, including ISTE, CoSN, FeTC, TCEA, Learning Forward, Schoology NEXT, iNACOL, and other regional events.

Dr. Gina Hartman wears many educational leadership hats. She currently works full-time as the Director of Customer Education for PowerSchool. She also is an adjunct instructor and has served as a public school board member. Gina has been in education for over 20 years and has extensive experience working in public school districts. She is the former Co-President of the St. Louis Educational Technology Association. She is also an ISTE Making IT Happen award recipient and recipient of the V.C. McCluer Award for her outstanding personal contributions to the instructional programs of the suburban Saint Louis schools.

Session description

PowerSchool continues to improve the resources and benefits available to Schoology Learning users. Educators using Schoology now have free access to a lesson planning tool and districts can add ContentNav to give teachers access to a library of approved standards-aligned instructional content. Come learn what’s new with Schoology Learning.

Purpose & objective

Participants will:
-Have the opportunity to connect with educational experts about Schoology Learning (part of the PowerSchool Personalized Learning Cloud).
-Learn about new features available to Schoology Learning users.
-Understand PowerSchool's Personalized Learning Cloud, which is the only solution available in education that connects curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
