About the International Society for Transforming Education

In 2023, ISTE and ASCD joined forces to empower educators to improve methodologies and seamlessly integrate technology and pedagogy to transform student learning outcomes. In 2026, the two legacy organizations became The International Society for Transforming Education (ISTE). ISTE is a nonprofit that guides and inspires educators to create purposeful, high-quality learning experiences that reflect each learner's skills, interests, and identities through aligned instructional strategies, technology, and educator practice.
