Kick off the Leadership Exchange with words of inspiration from ISTE CEO Richard Culatta and learn from an industry leader how they are supporting sustainability in education.
In this educator panel, representatives from three districts will share how they’re preparing for next year and years down the road. You’ll get an understanding of how these districts have moved from COVID-19 response to strategic transformative work, and what it means to create sustainable environments around technology spending, flexible professional learning and the creation of powerful digital content for students.
Get energized as exceptional leaders share stories about how they’re using technology to its fullest potential, and the secrets behind what has been sustaining their districts through these times. Then discuss the big themes like sustainable tech use, flexible learning and edtech procurement with fellow educators, and share your critical concerns and new ideas.
ISTE will provide research-based evaluation criteria and tools for determining which edtech on your radar aligns with best practices in product usability and learning design. You’ll come away with more confidence in your ability to parse the bad, good and great when it comes to edtech products. Plus hear from district leaders on how they’re making edtech selections to fit their needs.
Take away some last insights and wisdom as you learn from our final keynote speaker.

Join us for a new kind of conversation at the Leadership Exchange expo floor walk and reception!
Leadership Exchange participants can sign up for a group walk of the expo floor on the afternoon on Monday, June 27, followed by an opportunity to debrief at an intimate reception. You’ll be guided on what to ask vendors in order to get your critical questions about edtech products answered. Immediately following, the group will head over to a casual reception at one of New Orlean’s hottest farm-to-table artisanal eateries at 4 p.m. Sample Southern cuisine and libations while connecting with fellow leaders to debrief the vendor walk and weigh in on how ISTE can support districts in improving edtech procurement.
