Purpose:
Educators will understand the mission of Education Blueprint and how this free, interactive K-12 platform can remove the burden individual teachers and districts have to access, manage, and evaluate ubiquitous digital education resources that are ever-evolving.
Objectives:
1. Attendees will create a profile on Education Blueprint and understand tools for finding, sharing, and rating educational resources.
2. Attendees will understand how this technology intervention serves as both a professional learning community and social media tool, encouraging all K-12 educators to interact on one master platform.
3. Attendees will be briefed on John Kotter’s Change Theory and Dr. Kelly Pascarella’s research which led to the creation of the Education Blueprint website.
4. As evidence of success, attendees will share the website on social media, with fellow teachers, and teachers in their care encouraging user participation on the website.
Content, Activities, and Timelines:
1. Attendees will create a profile on Education Blueprint and understand tools for finding, sharing, and rating educational resources. (10 Minutes, Guided by presenter)
2. Attendees will understand how this technology intervention serves as both a professional learning community and social media tool, encouraging all K-12 educators to interact on one master platform. (20 minutes, Peer to peer interaction)
3. Attendees will be briefed on John Kotter’s Change Theory and Dr. Kelly Pascarella’s research which led to the creation of the Education Blueprint website. (20 minutes, Presenter Led)
4. As evidence of success, attendees will share the website on social media, with fellow teachers, and teachers in their care encouraging user participation on the website. (10 minutes, Contest with prizes for sharing)

Dr. Kelly Pascarella is a 16 year public school educator in the Pittsburgh, PA region. Her dissertation, "An Examination of Teacher Access, Management, & Evaluation of Digital Education Resources Amid the Covid-19 Pandemic and Emergency Remote Teaching" led to the creation of an interactive PLC platform for preK-12 educators, Education Blueprint.
