Many schools are faced with changing the culture or teaching and learning in the school to include innovation and 21st century skills. The teachers will share the strategies they have used, along with how they measured their school's successes in the teaching of language arts, both online and in in-person teaching.
Attendees will leave with ideas of how they can implement change in their own language class to engage learners and create impactful learning experiences.

Lyneth Crighton is the Head of Innovation and Staff Development, and the Head of IT Services at Brescia House School, a private girls Catholic school (K-12) in Johannesburg, South Africa. She is a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE) Fellow, Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Master Trainer, Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE), Google Certified (Level 1) and Apple Certified Teacher.
I am a (dramatic) English teacher who has moved full time into the curriculum and innovation mentor space. I enjoy facilitating learning journeys through the application of technology. I am a Microsoft Innovative Educator Fellow (2021-2022), a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, a Microsoft Certified Educator, a Microsoft Office Specialist - Associate, an Apple teacher, and our school is a Microsoft Showcase School. I work with colleagues to leverage technology for improved learning outcomes.
