Come explore the second digital divide and the foundations of tech frameworks for reflecting and planning the implementation of educational technology. We'll explore PICRAT's similarities and differences to other frameworks such as SAMR and TPACK while exploring the next steps to analyzing the integration of technology into education.

Proposal summary

Purpose & objective

The purpose of this presentation is to overview a variety of frameworks and how they can be utilized for ed tech integration, and the need for merging those frameworks. We will overview TPACK, SAMR, and PICRAT then look more in-depth at how other educational frameworks relate including Webb's Depth of Knowledge and the Danielson Framework. We will share a new framework we've developed which will offer another way to reflect, analyze, and grow educator's practice, student use, and technology integration in education: The TEC Framework.
