Purpose: to provide self-checking activities for self-guided student learning that is more engaging that a traditional quiz platform.
Participants will see examples of self-checking activities created in Google Sheets.
Participants will brainstorm ideas to adapt this activity for their learners.
Participants will either create from scratch or alter an existing activity to fit the needs of their learners.
Introduction of speaker and get to know the audience (5 minutes)
Demonstrate how previously created Google Sheet self-checking activities work. (10 minutes)
Brainstorm ideas for new self-checking activities (5 minutes)
Create or alter an activity (step-by-step) (30 minutes)
