The purpose of this session is to expose educators and education leaders to relevant and real-time professional development that will help improve technology practices which in turn will impact student outcomes. 360proPD covers a variety of topics such as Promethean, Google Workspace for Education, and more. The platform is designed to teach users new skills while modeling best practices. Beyond video content, users have access to additional materials and quizzes/performance tasks to show mastery of skills.
Angela is a National Board Certified Teacher and ISTE Certified Educator with 15 years of experience in a technology-enriched classroom and 5 years of experience and a district technology facilitator. Angela has been involved in developing and implementing ELA curriculum across her former district. She has also developed and presented professional development on a variety of EdTech topics, implementations, and skills.
I am a Teaching and Learning Consultant with AXI EDU/Trafera. I taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade in Lafayette Parish, with 4th grade being my favorite grade! I joined the district Technology Department as a Technology Facilitator in 2009. In 2015, I became the Instructional Technology Coordinator. To finish out my career, I became the Supervisor of Technology for the district in 2018. I retired in June of 2021 and joined the AXI/Trafera team in July 2021 and I am loving every minute!
Kelli Deranger is the Senior Director of Teaching and Learning at AXI Education Solutions/Trafera. Her instructional background is in Early Childhood Education and Special Education with a Master's in Education Technology. She taught for eight years in the Louisiana public school system and has been with AXI for over seven years working throughout the state. Her Professional Development expertise includes Google for Education, Digital Assessment Strategies, Digital Literacy, and Instructional Technology Leadership. She is a lifelong learner who truly loves technology and how it can increase engagement in the classroom.
