Proposal summary

Purpose & objective

Our students will be valued on what they can create rather than what they know. For content we have Google. We need to be teaching students what to do with the information they have available. Creativity is the future. It is not a waste of time or something students do just for fun in the classroom. This session will showcase 2 free apps where students can show a wide variety of what they have learned. Create a presentation, create a graphic, or a video! It is important to expose students to web apps like Adobe spark, and Genially that lets you upload and edit media/content to create a final product. Students will pick the medium that works best for them. Writing about it, designing or creating a play/video lesson. Learning should always be at the hands of the students.
