This creation lab/poster will include visuals and how-to videos to demonstrate an alternate way to assess without students writing or typing. Attendees can expect to practice/be exposed to multiple resources that they an easily incorporate as assessments, no matter what the subject area.

With a verbal/auditory focus, participants will be able to:
* View visuals and videos of various online tools/apps
* Practice online tools/apps
* Engage in small group discussion/work session to practice online apps/tools
Technology intervention:
* An online resource with links to verbal/auditory type assessments will be posted to my site if selected. Examples to include: Vocaroo, Kami, Flipgrid, Screencastify, Nearpod, etc.
Instructional activities:
* Sample lessons incorporating various online tools/apps will be posted to my site if selected
* This will be a create/drop-in session. As such, I will have visuals displayed. I will work with individuals or groups to present and/or practice online tools/apps.
Content and activities:

I have taught at both the elementary level (1-4) and middle school level (6-8) and currently teach World Studies in MCPS, a district near Washington, DC. I have presented and modeled lessons and innovative ways to present them at the school, county, state and national level. I was a co-presenter at ISTE 2019 and presenter at ISTE 2020. I am also a National Geographic Certified Educator & Community Leader, a Nearpod Certified Educator & PioNear and a Newsela Certified Educator & Teacher Trainer.
