Global Competencies and Intercultural skills are widely used terms in education, yet not always clearly understood. As educators we are working in communities growing in diversity. Understanding the various cultures entering our schools is not always easy. We also need to prepare our students for their future, since being globally competent is no longer something we aspire to for our students, it is a necessity.
