If you would like to know some basic set-up features for Canvas, where to add a little bit of spice to your Canvas dashboard, and how to connect your OneNote notebook, this is the session for you! We will give you some tips and tricks and answer your questions!

Welcome and Introduction
Participants will learn how they can get the Canvas LMS for free at https://canvas.instructure.com/
First we will show participants how to change settings in the dashboard to add images and combine classes.
We will then show them how to insert pictures from the Creative Commons.
We will also show them how to insert links, videos, how to records videos, and add other various items such as OneNote inside Canvas.
We will give time for questions.
Participants will walk away with a totally designed Canvas course.

Andrea Tolley is the Microsoft Imagine Academy Educator at Greeneville Middle School in Greeneville, Tennessee. She has been teaching for 20 years and enjoys working with middle school students. She has presented in various places such as BETT in London, FETC, TETC, CUE, NCCE, etc. on a variety of Microsoft programs such as OneNote, Sway, Imagine Academy, PowerPoint, and many other topics.
