Five years ago I was a teacher who had lost my joy for teaching and learning. My message is a story of how my joy was restored, my teaching was transformed, and unforgettable experiences were created in my classroom by unlocking the 7 keys to MAGICAL learning. I am passionate about sharing my story because I have found that many educators have also become burdened with the pressures of education and have similarly lost their joy. I hope to spark joy and help educators see that teaching and learning can truly be magical.
As educators we have such a significant role in helping shape young peoples' lives and impacting future generations. My message is one of hope, transformation, and real strategies for creating unforgettable experiences in the classroom. I believe that my story will resonate with educators from across grade levels, content areas, and roles throughout the educational spectrum.
I have been a classroom teacher for 22 years and have experienced a profound transformation in my journey within the last five. Within that time not only has my teaching been transformed, I have also developed a professional learning network, blog, wrote a book called Make Learning Magical that was through Dave Burgess Consulting, Inc, created and host the Make Learning Magical podcast, and spoken nationally on a variety of topics. I have incredible passion and enthusiasm, and a strong desire to bring joy and magical learning into schools everywhere.
Participants will come away inspired and equipped with strategies to transform their teaching and create unforgettable experiences for all of their students.

Tisha is a district Student Engagement and Professional Development Specialist and Canvas Coordinator, national speaker, author from Southern Oregon. She has taught Family and Consumer Science for 25 years and has served in various leadership roles in her school and district as well as on Oregon regional and state edtech cadres. Tisha is the author of the book Make Learning MAGICAL, which unlocks seven keys to transform teaching and create unforgettable experiences in the classroom. She speaks nationally on a variety of topics related to teaching and learning in all content and grade levels, Family and Consumer Science being her specialty.
