In Santillana, the largest educational publisher in the Spanish-speaking world, we understand education as a complex set of interconnected actions that go beyond knowing something to actually taking action toward real-life problems. Given the increasing weight of technology in the educational sector, Santillana has provided teachers, among other professional development strategies, with an online course based on the ISTE standards for educators where participants become autonomous and collaborative learners. In this poster session, we will share the nuts and bolts of this online program along with the positive impact it has had on teachers' own practice.
