Jeff Pittman is the Chief Technology Officer for Onslow County Schools in Jacksonville, NC. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, a Master’s Degree in Education from Campbell University and a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Government’s Certified Educational Chief Technology Officer program and a charter member of the North Carolina K-12 Cybersecurity Advisory Council.
I have worked for Onslow County Schools as a middle school teacher and a digital learning and teaching facilitator. In 2013 I became the DLTF Coordinator, then in 2019 I became the DLTF Director. I have worked over the past 7 years to implement a 1 to 1 program in grades K-12, support a growing district of 27,000 students, and adapt instruction during 2 hurricanes, and a pandemic. We constantly strive to support engaging instruction for every child, in every classroom, every day.
