Adam Juarez is a teacher on special assignment (TOSA) who serves as the 6-12 technology integration coach for Cutler-Orosi Joint Unified School District in California. In this role, he leads teachers in implementing technology into their lessons through one-on-one coaching, demo lessons and professional development. He also trains students on Google Workspace and other apps. He previously was a middle and high school world and U.S. history teacher. Juarez is a frequent conference presenter who, along with Katherine Goyette, launched the #CVTechTalk Twitter edchat to promote communication and collaboration, while highlighting the amazing work done by educators in California’s Central Valley. In 2020, Juarez and Goyette authored The Complete EdTech Coach: An Organic Approach to Supporting Digital Learning. The two also founded AdaKat EdTech Consulting LLC, and launched training on the Grassroots Workshops website. Juarez is a Google Certified Trainer and a Google Certified Innovator. He was named a 2020 30 K-12 IT Influencers Worth a Follow by EdTech Magazine. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Fresno Pacific University and a master’s in curriculum and instruction from Concordia.
