Joanne Seale is a high school ELA teacher with 20 years experience in the Hauppauge UFSD located on Long Island. Teaching Inclusion classes as well as college-level classes including AP Literature and IB Language and Literature, Joanne served as the IB Extended Essay coordinator for over ten years and has incorporated educational technology tools into her classroom throughout her entire career. She is a Google Certified Trainer, Wakelet Ambassador, EdPuzzle Coach and Screencastify Genius. She has presented at a variety of conferences both face-to-face and virtually on best practices in the classroom toward innovative ways to approach research and writing instruction.
