Proposal summary

Purpose & objective

Participants will understand the benefits of blogging in their classrooms.
*Authentic audience, digital citizenship, endless possibilities
Participants will be exposed to different blogging platforms.
*Schoology Blogging, WordPress, KidBlog and more
Participants will be exposed to different reasons for blogging.
*Student Choice (free write), teacher-directed, project sharing

Participants will be able to ask questions throughout the entire presentation. We will explore the different platforms. If participants have devices they will be able to explore and ask more directed questions. My hope is that they get the "blogging bug" and see the benefit for young children to get involved in their global world.
