The purpose of this presentation is to show educators how to create a maker space classroom and design authentic learning activities that align with any subject or content area.

Participants will understand how a maker space will help them design a personalized learning experience for students.
Participants will understand the purpose and benefits of having a maker space in the elementary setting.
Participants will understand what materials they need to start a maker space.
Participants will understand how to fund and manage a maker space.
Participants will explore resources to use in a maker space to lead to personalized learning outcomes.

Evidence of success will be educators creating a maker space in their elementary school or classroom.
