The world has changed dramatically in the last few years, but many schools struggle to develop curriculum that can evolve along with it. Join us to discuss student-led projects that leverage edtech to develop cultural literacy, establish an anti-racist mindset and highlight underrepresented voices.

Proposal summary

Purpose & objective

This session will provide real-life examples and best practices for the many ways teachers can integrate cultural literacy into their existing curriculum. While many states and local schools are hostile toward these types of lessons, the session will emphasize the use of inquiry, project-based learning, and design thinking as a vehicle for teachers to successfully do so.
