Could elementary school girls become passionate about reading? In this project, students use a makerspace to develop psychomotor skills using tools, and start conversations about book genres as a design requirement. Proposal summary

Purpose & objective

- Due to lockdown, kids from early stages might have gaps in the development of psychomotor skills. Using alternative learning environments, we measure the diagnosis and impact of the activity on the development of this skills. More over, kids use their imagination as design prompts that are going to be visible in a tangible product.
-Use emerging technologies to engage students into conversation and motivation on reading.
- Merge libraries, makerspaces and books in an activity.
