0–5 min-Welcome & Hook – Quick demo of an AR story scene.
5–15 min-AI Story Spark – Participants choose a prompt (can use a provided prompt or generate their own) and use a text-generation tool to draft characters, setting, and plot ideas.
15–25 min- Collaborative Refinement – Small groups edit/expand the AI draft, discussing narrative voice and ethical AI use (plagiarism, bias).
25–40 min- Pop-Up or AR Build – Option A: Create a physical pop-up page of one key scene. Option B: Import characters/assets into an AR platform (examples- Tinkercad, Delightex EDU)
40–55 min-Showcase– Groups present their scenes.
55–60 min-Reflection & Classroom Connections – Brainstorm how to adapt for ELA, social studies, or STEAM projects and assess student learning.
A mini interactive story world created during the session can be used to provide an example for participant colleagues. A practical action plan including classroom workflow and suggestions for free resources will also be provided.
